Marmalade opened its doors in 2006 in a cozy corner on 4th and Front Street in downtown Coeur d'Alene. What began as a small, charming shop for unique clothing and handmade jewelry quickly became a family affair. Marie’s daughters, Kaity and Kasey, had their first retail experiences there—steaming clothes after school and begging to join Marie on buying trips.

In 2015, Marmalade expanded to its current location, nearly six times the size, complete with vintage wallpaper, paintings, and mirrors that give the store its distinctive, eclectic vibe. Today, Marmalade is a welcoming space where mothers, daughters, aunts, nieces, best friends—and anyone who loves fashion—can shop together and find something to love.

Our carefully curated collection features a diverse range of styles and price points, all chosen with the goal of offering pieces you won’t find anywhere else.
