The Best of Pre-Fall 2021

In the fashion world, there are seasons called “Pre” seasons. As you can probably guess, it is a season that comes before another season… For some brands and designers, they may only have a spring collection and a fall collection. However, recently, pre-collections have become increasingly popular to add a variety and expand the assortment for their customers. There is buzz in the fashion industry that pre-collections outsell Spring and Fall. The thing about pre-collections is that they can be some of the most versatile pieces in your closet. This is because it is made to exist not only as a transition piece but also as something that can be worn year-round (or close to it). Pre-fall items have a tendency to be a little more summery because they are, in fact, released in the summertime. However, there is always an element that makes it a transition piece into fall. It's important for us to invest in designers and items that we believe will create value to your wardrobe. When buying, we always look for items that are timeless (meaning can be worn season after season), well-made, unique, and can be worn so many ways. This Pre-Fall season we are really excited about the versatility and longevity that it brings. Of course, we are always looking forward to the fun pieces (and there for sure are many this season), but we also get excited when we see something that can be worn so many different ways. From interesting knits to breezy dresses, here are our favorite items to shop and to love this pre-fall season.

Baum Und Pferdgarten Cress Knit Vest

Vests are really having a moment right now and we are really gravitating towards a modern take! This knit vest is a poncho-style guy with open side and a detachable belt. For some, this piece may honestly be scary, but when styled right, it can be worn over and over! This vest would look super cool belted over a basic slip dress to add an extra layer of warmth without going too overboard! We can also see it worn over a tee and jeans to add dimension to a casual look. We also highly recommend swapping out the belt with a vintage leather one to give it some variety. This piece is meant for experimentation, so have fun with it! And if you dare to wear it with no bra underneath, we are here for it!

Stine Goya Hunter Dress

Stine Goya is always know to have the boldest prints! In this seasons "From Bed to Babylon" Pre-Fall collection, Stine Goya explores the concept of fun party looks mixed with the ease of the PJ-inspired inspired trend. If there's anything to get you out of your sweatpants rut, this collection sure will! If you're not a dress gal, also shop this same print in the Luna Shirt. We are are having fun wearing it now with sandals and shorts, but can also see it worn into the cooler months layered with a thin turtleneck and boots!

Munthe Pecan Convertible Knit

We absolutely love Munthe (pronounced moon-tay) because it is just so wearable without being boring. We especially gravitate towards brands designed by women, and it is very evident in Naja Munthe's designs. The relaxed fits and irresistible fabrics make the brand so fun and effortless to wear. One of the stars of this season is the Pecan Knit. The not-so-basic pullover sweater features button details at the shoulders that allow you to customize your look. Wear it buttoned up, as a cold shoulder or take them off completely to sport a sweater vest that's very on of-the-moment. Shop it now in ivory and black now through the rest of winter!

Rails Winnie Shirt

Rails is a go-to for their perfect button down shirts and we love this chic update. The Winnie shirt is the perfect oversized fitting white button down that would be so cute with bike shorts or just worn with jeans. The shirt is slightly longer in the back and in the most luxe cotton poplin fabric. We are also obsessed with their summer cotton poplin in the Shannon shirt!

We love being able to now connect with our customers online! If you have any questions about these items or others on our website, please email us at [email protected]. We hope you have fun getting dressed again!
